Local students earn Science Fair awards

The 65th annual Northeastern Indiana Tri-State Regional Science Fair, hosted by Trine University on March 15, drew projects representing all areas of science from northeast Indiana elementary, middle and high school students.

Nineteen competitors qualified for the 37th annual Hoosier Science and Engineering Fair, which will be held April 5. A total of 114 students participated in the event, held in Trine’s Best Hall of Science.

Student awards were presented in the following categories:
