4th Trine Fest coming this Saturday

August 20, 2025

The City of Angola and Trine University are hosting the fourth annual Trine Fest from noon-4 p.m. this Saturday, Aug. 23, in downtown Angola.

Community members are invited to join Trine students for family-friendly events around the Mound, including food trucks, fun inflatables, craft activities, a rock-climbing wall, ax throwing, an extreme trampoline, a mechanical bull and more.

Local businesses and organizations will have tables set up at the event.

“Trine Fest has continued to grow each year. It’s an incredible way to connect the Trine University campus and the community of Angola,” said Jennifer LaRose, executive director of camps, conferences and events at Trine. “Students and community members will enjoy sharing food and fun as we celebrate the partnership and camaraderie we have together.”

The event is one of many on and off the Trine University campus that welcomed students back for the fall semester. Classes began at Trine on Monday, Aug. 18.
