Golfers and sponsors at Trine University’s 36th annual Alumni and Friends Golf Outing contributed a record amount for student scholarships, raising $115,000 at the Aug. 7 event.

Nearly 250 golfers enjoyed 18 holes on the beautiful Zollner Golf Course, with added games like a hole-in-one contest and cornhole as well as free hot dogs provided by the Alumni Association Board of Directors.

“I am incredibly grateful for the generous support of our alumni, donors, Board of Trustees members, families, friends and businesses who continue to invest in the success of Trine University and our students,” said Michael Pacer, director of alumni relations and engagement. “Through the funds raised for student scholarships, you are helping make a Trine University education more accessible and empowering our students to succeed, lead and serve in their communities and throughout the world.”
