Diplomas are printed with the title of the degree, and not with the name of the major or minor. Some degree titles include an area of study, and many do not. Three examples of degrees are: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science. You may view your exact degree title, major, and minor on the pdf version of your transcript available on myPortal. If you would like additional information, please contact the Registrar’s Office.

Students may choose how they want their name on the diploma. Most students use a middle name or middle initial, but this is not required.

Fall ’22 graduates:  You should already have received your diploma.  If you have not, check with the Registrar’s Office.

Spring ’23 graduates:  You will receive your diploma in the mail. Watch your Trine email for a mailing address request from noreply@parchment.com. You will also be emailed a digital diploma.

Summer and Fall ’23 graduates:  You will receive your diploma in the mail after your final semester. Watch your Trine email for a mailing address request sent from noreply@parchment.com. You will also be emailed a digital diploma.

Students will not receive diplomas if they are ‘on hold’ with any University Office. Once all holds are removed, please contact the Registrar’s Office to request the mailing of your diploma.

Trine University will graduate a record number in the Class of 2023, with more than 1,000 planning to participate in the ceremony. This incredible number of graduates means that, to stay within the seating capacity of the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Inc. Athletics and Recreation Center (ARC), students who have filed their intent to participate in the ceremony will be allowed up to four (4) guest tickets. Students participating in the ceremony are not included in the four tickets and do not need a ticket themselves.

Students will receive an email from Audience View no later than April 17, with instructions on how to create a username and password to access their tickets. Students also will be able to decline tickets they don't need, or request additional tickets, including the reason the tickets are needed. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Any additional guests who are not allocated the four tickets will be invited to overflow seating available in the MTI Center on campus, where the ceremony will be livestreamed.

If your student has any questions about tickets or issues with Audience View, please ask them to email trinetickets@trine.edu
