I was born in Massachusetts and raised in Michigan. Being a first-generation American, I grew up with an interesting cultural dynamic, which ignited my passion for the humanities and liberal arts studies. Majoring in philosophy inspired me to advance my education in social sciences and study human behavior and cognition. Given my personal experience with different cultures, I have developed an interest in sociocultural research, particularly in cross-cultural psychology and its implications for socioeconomic outcomes, morality and acculturation.

I have been with Trine University for two years and am currently the faculty advisor for the Psychology Student Organization as well as lab director and Ethics Committee volunteer. I am interested in advancing the research program in our department as well as my personal research through the institution and expanding psychological interests and career options for our majors in the field.

My hobbies include chess, sports, fishing, camping, hiking, trying new things and seeing new places.
