The culture of Trine University dictates that these same standards of acceptance apply to all faculty, staff, alumni and community members.

Trine Together

Trine Together iniativeTrine Together is a commitment from members throughout the Trine University family – representing all races and creeds – that forms an inclusive community working together for a brighter tomorrow. This effort, founded on justice and fairness for all, is a promise to engage in meaningful conversations and connections by hearing each other, seeing each other, and caring for each other. And, by valuing all of our citizens equally and building on the strengths that exist in every person, we not only enhance the Trine culture, we work together to build a better Trine community and a more humane world.

MSO

Multicultural Student Organization

The purpose of the Multicultural Student Organization is to make sure that all members excel socially and academically throughout our communities. We dedicate ourselves to the development, enrichment, and appreciation of all cultures that are represented.

The Multicultural Student Organization is dedicated to promoting a healthy and enjoyable social and academic atmosphere for multicultural students at Trine University. In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we believe “that people of all races, creeds, and nationalities can live together in a beloved community and that a person should be judged by the contents of their character and not by the color of their skin.”  By following in his footsteps we challenge oppression and structural and procedural inequalities that exist in society.  Ultimately, the organization strives to develop leadership skills in multicultural students through participation in various campus activities and civic projects.

The Multicultural Student Organization hosts activities throughout the year, including workshops, the Amish Dinner & Cultural Exchange, Hispanic Heritage Month, Diversity Sunday and the Dr. Martin Luther King Celebration.
