My whole life, I knew I wanted to be in a position to make a positive impact on students. I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education and started my career in Indianapolis, working as a special education teacher. After a few years there, I moved to Northeastern Indiana and worked as an elementary teacher. I loved being in the classroom but I wanted to be able to impact even more students each year so I became a school administrator.
I have served as an administrator for students in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade for the past 6 years. I am excited to have the opportunity to impact the future generation of educators through the Frank’s School of Education Program at Trine.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside with my husband and three children. My favorite summer activities include boating, swimming, hiking and biking. In the winter months, I enjoy skiing, ice skating and sledding.
