  • Biomedical Engineering Laboratory Techniques - Learn the basic techniques and knowledge associated with drug discovery and tissue engineering. Prepare for summer research and employment opportunities that set you up for success in graduate school and industry laboratory environments. Practice with lab equipment comparable to those found in the industry and graduate school.
  • Biomedical Engineering Research Techniques - Engage in a semester-long research project. Prepare for the opportunity to publish your research results in supplemental courses.
  • Biomedical Engineering Design and Manufacturing - Learn about the design process and gain experience on manufacturing equipment including 3D printing, casting, welding, laser cutting and milling.
  • Space Health Research - Conduct independent research guided by the objectives of NASA's Human Research Program in this special topics course.

With an average department class size of 10, you will receive a personalized learning experience in Trine's biomedical engineering program.

Dedicated faculty will prepare you for one of three tailored concentrations in mechanical, electrical or research areas. You can also acquire a minor or start graduate courses during your undergraduate studies.
