Accomplishments since graduating from Trine:
Olivia is teaching 7th and 8th grade science. Olivia is now the advisor for the Junior High Student Council and has started a Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle for the junior high students.

Best memories of Trine:
"My best memories of being a teacher education student at Trine are the practicums; I loved being in the classroom observing, teaching, and interacting with students at different schools, and I loved that we were in classrooms right from the start instead of having to wait until methods or student teaching. I also enjoyed working with great professors who were always helpful and prepared me very well for this job."

Choosing teaching as my profession is one of the best choices I have ever made. I did not start out as an education major; I switched to this my junior year, and I'm so glad that I did. This job is not always easy - actually, it's never easy - but it's so rewarding. I absolutely love this profession, and I wouldn't want to be doing anything else.
