Gaming facilities
The Mark and Sarah Music / Ruoff mortgage Esports arena is the state-of-the-art Esports facility of Trine University.
This brand-new arena is equipped with 62 gaming computers, 4 team practice booths, a production room, a commentating booth, and an event space with 70 public seats.
The fully modular stage allows us to host competitive matches, student projects and classes while offering the possibility to livestream.
The Esports arena is accessible to all Trine’s students, as well as local organizations and Easterseals thanks to the commitment and support of Mark and Sarah Music / Ruoff Mortgage, AWS Foundation, Ball Brothers Foundation and Lilly Endowment Inc.

These cutting-edge studios allow our students to learn about broadcasting and production.
These facilities give access to a new way of expression and new media to all our students, local organizations, and Easterseals thanks to the support of the Ball Brothers Foundation.
The Esports arena also includes 4 practice booths that offer the perfect team environment for our Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.
With 62 computers, Trine Esports players and all Trine students get to enjoy those facilities to play with friends, compete in different tournaments or use the space for school projects.
All the computers are equipped with a program allowing students to use their student credentials, visitors to borrow guests accounts and computers to be limited depending on grades, class schedules or age.
By ensuring the regulated use of the computers, Trine Esports utilize video games as a tool for education and a motivation to keep a high GPA. This program was supported by the AWS Foundation.
