Humanities and Communication
The Department of Humanities and Communication is a diverse group of students and faculty with a wide range of experiences. The small size of our department makes it easy to connect with others and collaborate on engaging projects. Our faculty goes the extra mile to not only meet students where they are now, but also assist them in getting exactly where they want to be.
In a rapidly changing world dominated by technology, it is more important than ever to deliver messages effectively and understand the perspectives of others, no matter which medium they’re delivered through.
Our Programs
Both of our programs, English and communication, seek to understand the transformative power of media, literature, film, composition, art, and other forms of the humanities. Trine HAC offers two majors and four minors. All programs have recently been redesigned to uniquely meet the needs of students in the 21st century.
