Summary:

Trine University's Franks School of Education invites applicants for a part-time teaching position beginning in August 2019. Teaching responsibilities include EDU 442: Social Studies Education Methods, which is a methodology course for secondary social studies education majors seeking grades 5-12 licensure. This senior-level course focuses on teaching of methods designed to facilitate competency in social studies, daily and long-range planning, classroom management, instructional technology, curriculum development, secondary school organization, individualized instruction, motivation, concept development, and interdisciplinary teaching. 

Education:

Candidates must have 5+ years of social studies teaching experience in grades 5-12 and a Master's degree in Social Studies Education or a related field.


Applicants should send a detailed CV, a letter describing their qualifications for teaching the classes and copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts.

Salary

Salary is is based upon the number of credit hours taught and the number of students registered for the class being taught.
