Summary

Provide administrative support to the MPAS programs in the College of Health Professions. Excellent communication skills are vital along with appropriate customer service skills and professional conduct in dealing with individuals. Ability to consistently follow detailed oral and written instructions and meet deadlines.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, answer phone, and sort/deliver mail
  • Prepare letters, reports, memoranda
  • Maintain program files and records
  • Copy, collate, and distribute materials
  • Schedule meeting rooms
  • Prepares adjunct and faculty overload contracts
  • Coordinate functions with CASPA applications and build interviews
  • Attend program specific meetings and take and publish minutes
  • Assist with accreditation requirements
  • Become proficient with vendor software (Castle Branch, Exxact, CASPA, etc)
  • Insure clinical sites receive student and faculty documents when needed
  • Assists with information sessions and student orientation
  • Schedule classrooms
  • Create electronic student files for registration
  • Visa Intellilink reconciliation and budget
  • Complete PA purchase orders, check requests, travel expenses, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

 Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative support with a record of excellence. Experience in an educational environment is preferred but not necessary
  • Experience with a variety of office software, such as email, scheduling, word processing and spreadsheet programs
  • Proficiency with office equipment (copiers, scanners, etc), and ability to troubleshoot related problems
  • Associates Degree required
