Summary
The Department of Mathematics & Physics invites applications for a permanent, full-time
faculty position starting in August of 2019. The ideal candidate will have the ability
to teach a wide variety of undergraduate physics courses including, but not limited
to college physics I and II (algebra based), university physics I and II (calculus
based), the laboratory sections for those physics courses, and some lower level mathematics
courses. A strong commitment to teaching is required, and excellent English communication
ability is also a must. The position prefers a doctorate in physics. Preference will
be given to those candidates who have demonstrated teaching experience and whose qualifications
most closely match the teaching and development needs within the department.

priority and a normal course load is twelve to fourteen credit hours per semester.

Education and/or Experience
The successful candidate will have:
A PhD in physics is preferred; Minimum qualification for the position is a Master’s
degree in physics.

Rank and salary will be based on qualifications.
