Summary
This position has the responsibility of working closely with Easterseals NEI to provide greater diversity on campus in relation to the competitive gaming community. The position will assist students at Trine University to develop their understanding of neurodivergence and disabilities and will act as a liaison for special academic programming for the Easterseals clients. The ideal candidate would be an idea generator with strong creative problem-solving skills, excellent organization and communication skills, and superior attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Tracks interactions with prospective students.
- Assists with document processing and initial file review.
- Enhances customer service to students.
- Assists with scheduling departmental meetings.
- Supervises the head coach of Esports.
- Reviews the Trine website for appropriate content relating to Esports.
- Contributes to Esports fundraising.
- Identifies and secures corporate sponsorship opportunities.
- Manages the Esports arena - Staffing, scheduling, equipment maintenance and rotation.
- Identifies, hires, and oversees student mentors.
- Creates and runs summer camps and competitions.
- Serves as a liaison for Easterseals, Trine’s Esports teams, the Franks School of Education, and the Allen School of Engineering and Computing.
- Handles vendor relations.
- Supports recruiting efforts for the Esports team.
- Coordinates, schedules, and provides student, corporate sponsor, and fundraising visits and tours.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required; a graduate degree is preferred. Esports experience is required and admissions experience is desirable.

Salary
The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
