Area students honored at Tri-State Regional Science Fair

The 63rd annual Northeastern Indiana Tri-State Regional Science Fair, hosted by Trine
University, drew projects representing all areas of science from northeast Indiana
elementary, middle and high school students.
Twenty-two competitors qualified for the 35th annual Hoosier Science and Engineering
Fair, which was held March 25. More than 120 students participated in the event, held
in Trine’s Best Hall of Science.
Student awards were presented in the following categories:

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Trine University’s McKetta Department of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering students showcased their skills and excellence at the 2024 American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) National Student Conference, earning national awards and honors while competing against top programs from across the country.
High school seniors looking to enroll at Trine University in fall 2025 are invited to attend Instant Admission Day on Tuesday, Jan. 8, where they can receive an immediate admission decision and learn about scholarship opportunities.
Trine University’s esports teams rose to new levels of success this fall, winning their first conference championship and first national titles in Overwatch and League of Legends.
