An Indianapolis Colts preseason package, gourmet meals and collectibles autographed
by famous names such as Taylor Swift, Patrick Mahomes and Ronald Reagan will be among
the many items auctioned to support Trine University student scholarships during the
university’s 21st Annual Scholarship Gala.
Tickets are still available for the event, which begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15,
in the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics, Inc. Athletic Recreation Center on Trine's Angola
campus.

Featured items
The annual Gala features live and silent auctions with many options including sports
memorabilia, vacations, jewelry, experience packages and artwork.
Among the auction items will be:
- A Colts Suite package for a pre-season game, including 32 tickets in a suite, 12 parking
passes, and $3,000 in catering expenses.
- Sheet music for “Shake It Off” autographed by Taylor Swift.
- A football helmet autographed by Indianapolis Colts legends including Peyton Manning
and Adam Vinatieri.
- An autographed photo of President Ronald Reagan.
- A gourmet dinner provided in-home or on campus by Bon Appetit.
- A football card display autographed by Patrick Mahomes.
- A WNBA floorboard display autographed by Caitlin Clark.
Proceeds from the auction benefit Trine students through scholarships and the Books
and Beyond program, which assists financially disadvantaged students with needed books,
computers, school and lab supplies, meals and modest account balances.
War hero, Super Bowl champion
In addition to the auction items, those in attendance will hear from Rocky Bleier,
who overcame war injuries to help lead the Pittsburgh Steelers to four Super Bowl
championships.
They also enjoy wine tasting, a gourmet dinner by Bon Appetit and live music provided
by the Trine University Jazz Band.
Tickets for the event are $150.
