Centers

Academic centers at Trine University provide opportunities for students, faculty, and key constituents to collaborate and focus on specific fields of inquiry. Centers are designed to promote both scholarly AND real-world activities, including research, teaching, and outreach.

Center for Montessori Education

Center of Montessori Education at Trine in IndianaThe Center for Montessori Education at Trine University is unique because our method is through scientific observation, yet new teachers often struggle with knowing what to look for in the children they serve. We are offering additional coursework and experiences to support classroom leadership.

Our adult learners will truly be prepared for confidence in the classroom through enhanced training in learning differences, typical childhood exceptionalities, and methods for implementing positive discipline in the classroom. We have incorporated a MACAR (Montessori Applied to Children at Risk) certificate program and a Positive Discipline workshop into the program.
