You’ve grown up playing your favorite video games. The game design and VR concentration within Trine University’s Bachelor of Science in computer and information technology (CIT) degree will help you develop the next Minecraft, Fortnite, Halo, Assassin’s Creed or Super Smash Bros.

The concentration: Strong CIT foundation

The game design and VR concentration builds on the broad base of Trine’s CIT degree, equipping you to professionally design video games and VR environments.

The experience: Build your own game

Each class within the concentration will teach you a particular set of game design skills and a specific technology skill such as Twine, Unity, Game Maker and VR. You will complete a game for your portfolio prior to graduation.

The result: Ready to go

By completing the game design and VR concentration, you will be qualified to work at a game design studio. In addition, graduates of our computer and information technology program are ready for jobs in the information and technology industry, business, public service and other professions.
