Approximately 70% of our graduates pursue graduate school in physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training or related fields.

The exercise science program is an option for Trine's Doctor of Occupational Therapy direct entry pathway and Trine's Doctor of Physical Therapy direct entry pathway.

Coursework in the Bachelor of Science in exercise science includes topics such as kinesiology, nutrition, health, wellness and human performance. If you are interested in athletic training or physical therapy, keep in mind these fields require a graduate degree. Trine’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program offers a direct entry option for exercise science graduates.

Master of Athletic Training at Manchester University in Fort Wayne

Manchester University will reserve two (2) seats in each annual cohort of students entering its MAT program for qualified students at Trine University. Qualified students must complete the ATCAS application process for admission to the Manchester MAT program by the established deadlines. The program is 62 credit hours over the course of two years.
