Indiana College Core (ICC) Transfer Credits
The Indiana College Core (ICC) consists of 30 semester hours of general education competency based courses within 6 learning outcome areas. Each student must complete a minimum of 3 credit hours in each area, with a maximum to be completed across all competency areas. Full completion, and certification by a certifying public college, allows students to transfer the courses completed as a block to a receiving institution.
Trine University requires official transcripts from both the certifying public college and any additional college or university credit was earned to complete the ICC, this might also include official AP and CLEP scores.
The ICC is not guaranteed to fully replace all of the receiving institution's general education requirements. Additional general education courses may still need to be completed. To assure all credits earned apply toward an intended major at Trine University, students are encouraged to follow the program Pathway.
