Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE)

Founded in 1899, Tau Kappa Epsilon is the world’s largest social fraternity with over 265,000 initiated members since its founding and more than 290 active chapters and colonies located throughout the United States and Canada. Tau Kappa Epsilon is in the business of building better men who reflect highly on their family, school, community, and the Fraternity. TKE isn't just something you experience in your 4 years in college; it's a brotherhood with fellow men that share common values and bonds and an experience that lasts a lifetime.

“I am proud to be a TKE. For me, TKE has not only been an enjoyable association, but a meaningful aspect of my life.” — Ronald Reagan.

The Beta–Epsilon Chapter at Trine University was founded in 1947. Since that time more than 740 men have been affiliated with this local chapter. TKE at Trine University prides itself on a hazing free new member program. Additionally TKE at Trine University hosts several philanthropic events each year and has donated thousands of dollars to local and national charities. Tau Kappa Epsilon has established a partnership with St. Jude's Children's Hospital to help raise money to research and cure childhood diseases and to treat patients that are admitted. TKE at Trine University also donates money every year to the Turning Point Homeless Shelter.
