Trine-Owned Houses

Two houses

Campus-owned houses give students the best of both worlds: the independence of a home with the support and convenience of university housing. Each house provides the space, comfort and community connection that make upper-level living feel personal and rewarding.

  • Style: House
  • Room Occupancy: 3-, 4- or 5-bedroom homes with mixture of single and double occupancy (duplex option holds up to 8 students)
  • Class Standing Restrictions: Juniors and seniors (2.9+ GPA)
  • Bathroom Style: Multiple shared bathrooms
  • Flooring: Carpet
  • Common Area: Fully furnished home with full kitchens (kitchenware not included)
  • Laundry: In-unit washer and dryer

Most campus-owned houses are within a short walking distance of campus, with two located just beyond the golf course on Maumee Street. Please refer to the Location Map for the exact locations of each property. Campus-owned houses are part of the Villa, Condo and Campus Houses townhouse placement process.

The townhouse placement process is determined through an application-based system. Students who meet the eligibility criteria may form a group, and available placements are awarded based on the group’s overall GPA average within each group-size category. To be eligible to join a group, students must have completed at least four semesters at Trine, hold a Trine Career GPA of 2.9 or higher and have a minimum total of 60 earned plus expected credits.
