Summary

This role provides marketing, group event planning, communication and project management support for the projects, group events and communication plans for the Office of Admission. This role requires a strong, demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities, deliverables, and timelines. The building and managing of project plans are essential to the success and support of the admissions and recruitment goals. With leadership and support from the VP, this position collaborates closely with the admissions team, the admissions operations team, the various colleges and departments, and the University Office of Marketing and Communications. This position must also have a broad understanding of appropriate academic programs and potential future directions; be flexible, visionary, creative and energetic and, possess a demonstrated capacity to lead.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Office of Admission
  • Develops annual mail grid and timelines for admission marketing and communication projects
  • Works closely with the Office of Marketing and Communications to manage the projects, plans, purchase orders and timelines
  • Coordinates K-12 group events on campus and serves as the main point of contact for the event
  • Continuous review of print collateral to ensure accuracy
  • Works with admission team on comprehensive communications flow via Slate
  • Puts in requests for print, video, images, digital and all other forms of marketing needed
  • Import content, test messages and adds audiences into Slate and works with Director of Enrollment Systems and Operations to deliver messages.
  • Assists in running processes daily out of Slate
  • Analyze data and trends
  • Demonstrates the ability to clean and verify data
  • Assists with third party processes for bulk mailings, texting services and video messaging
  • Manage web content to assure information is constantly up to date
  • Reviews monthly web content for accuracy
  • Back up to admission coordinator and office manager as needed
  • Be flexible with evening and weekend hours for some events
  • Other duties as assigned by the V.P. For Enrollment Management

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
