Summary

The International Services Processor - Admission is responsible for processes related to international student records. The International Services Processor – Admission works within the international system for the processing of SEVIS records and other immigration related documents and will work within the application system for the review and update of prospective student records. They will communicate with prospective students to assist with the completion of applications and the admission process, and conduct regular audits of SEVIS alerts and reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist applicants through the admission process, ensuring they have the necessary information and support to complete required steps.
  • Review admission applications for prospective students.
  • Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO).
  • Create and update student information within the international student system & application system to ensure up-to-date and accurate record keeping.
  • Process I-20s and other immigration documents for students.
  • Assist with the process of SEVIS registration for new and continuing F1 students.
  • Communicate with students regarding application and immigration status.
  • Conduct routine audits of student information in the application and immigration systems.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Working knowledge of technologies.

Education and/or Experience

A minimum high school or GED diploma required.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with international student relations.
