Summary

The Online Learning Assistant leads course readiness activities to ensure that online courses are setup and ready before each term begins.  This position will interact with faculty scheduled to teach each term, communicating deadlines and tracking course readiness activities. This individual is highly organized, detail-oriented and has effective communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Updates online courses to align with TrineOnline Template.
  • Ensures faculty have access to Master courses in learning management system.
  • Coordinates the course improvement process.
  • Identifies and tracks course content ready to be imported for each term.
  • Works with faculty to ensure course readiness activities are completed.
  • Verifies online courses are available to students by due date.
  • Documents processes and procedures as needed.
  • Assists with training and continuous improvement activities.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Highly proficient computer navigation skills are required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
