A construction worker tears down part of the remaining wall of the former Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity house Wednesday on the campus of Trine University. Work began to remove two former fraternity houses and the building that housed the TGear sports apparel store to make way for the Thunder Ice Arena, which will open in Fall 2017 and serve as the home of Trine’s men’s and women’s hockey teams. Two students from Trine University’s Ketner School of Business finished in the top 16 at the annual National Collegiate Sports Sales Championship (NCSSC) competition, held Jan. 21 and 22 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
An Indianapolis Colts preseason package, gourmet meals and collectibles autographed by famous names such as Taylor Swift, Patrick Mahomes and Ronald Reagan will be among the many items auctioned to support Trine University student scholarships during the university’s 21st Annual Scholarship Gala.
Trine University is now offering its associate of applied science in surgical technology degree in an expanded hybrid format, allowing students to complete online coursework from home while gaining valuable in-person experience through immersive courses, lab sessions and clinical rotations.
