Trine hosting artists for ‘Creative Life’ event
The Humanities Institute at Trine University will host a discussion on Thursday, Nov. 6, with two professional artists about their work as well as how anyone can bring more creativity and inspiration into their life.

Ellie Cole, an elementary education major from Albion, Indiana, presents a lesson
using Mursion virtual reality training in the EDU 463 Educational Media and Technology
class at Trine University on Thursday, April 22. The Mursion platform allows Trine’s
education students to practice situations such as teaching a classroom or conducting
a parent-teacher conference in a low-stress environment. During the simulations, the
Trine students interact with avatars, which are powered by artificial intelligence
and guided by trained professionals. Depending on the simulations, the avatars can
be designed to represent and interact as students or parents. (Photos by Dean Orewiler
