the organization from Hunter Overholser, president of Trine University’s Health Science
Association (HSA). The HSA raised the money for Kate’s Kart through its annual 5K
during the university’s Homecoming celebration. Based in Fort Wayne, Kate's Kart’s
gifts of new books provide a comforting diversion to hospitalized children and their
families and help foster a love of reading.
“We loved the idea of the organization and all the amazing opportunities they provide for children in the hospital,” said Overholser. “It became a no-brainer to us that we wanted to partner with Kate's Kart.”
Three administrators from Trine University’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies (CGPS) will share their success with using technology to support significant growth in an upcoming national webinar.
Trine University Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students and faculty presented research at the American Physical Therapy Association’s largest national conference, the Combined Sections Meeting, held in Anaheim, California, Feb. 12-14.
