Undergraduate and Transfer Admission

You have many choices in achieving your educational goals, and we're excited you're considering Trine University to complete your online degree. TrineOnline is committed to providing you with the advantage you need to succeed both personally and professionally.

Transfer and Experiential Learning Credits

Transfer credits allow you to save time and money when you're working toward your degree. With TrineOnline's generous credit acceptance, you can apply up to 90 credit hours from prior college courses, experiential learning, college level examinations, or military coursework and your credits never expire. Admission Requirements

To be admitted to Trine University's TrineOnline, please submit the following:

  • Completed application
  • A government-issued ID (e.g. driver’s license or state ID) with address verification OR a photo ID (e.g. passport, staff ID, college ID, high school ID) and documentation with address verification (e.g. utility bill, bank statement).
  • Official transcripts showing evidence of graduation from an accredited high school or
    acceptable score on the General Education Development (GED) exam.
  • Official transcripts from ALL post–secondary schools attended.

You will be contacted by a director of admission to help guide you through the process and help you secure your transcripts.
