Vicki Moravec Honors Program
Sometimes students need more. Greater challenges, deeper discussions. Trine enriches your classroom experience through our Vicki Moravec Honors Program. You'll explore in-depth topics in your major and other areas of interest with students who seek a greater academic challenge.
Mission
Trine University's Honors Program began in the fall of 2006, giving students the opportunity to pursue a more in-depth understanding of topics in their major as well as in other areas of interest. It was renamed the Vicki Moravec Honors Program as an honor to its founder in the spring of 2024.
The mission of the Vicki Moravec Honors Program is to provide support, resources and academic experiences to high-achieving and highly motivated students, allowing them to grow intellectually and become active independent learners. As a student in the Vicki Moravec Honors Program, you will be exposed to a breadth of teaching methods and topics and, through this exposure, have a more fulfilling, varied educational experience.
Benefits
Honors students develop a close-knit group of friends within the program. Besides attending classes together, honors students attend social events sponsored by the program and are eligible to live in the apartment-style Honors Residence. Other great benefits include priority registration and special recognition at graduation.
