Experiential Learning Track at Trine University

At Trine University, we recognize the importance of practical experience in shaping the future success of our students. That's why we offer an Experiential Learning Track tailored for our international students, allowing them to integrate real-world work experiences into their academic journey. Here's everything you need to know about this unique program.

Program Overview:

The Experiential Learning Track is designed for F1 International Students enrolled in eligible programs at Trine University. Participating students have the opportunity to engage in internship experiences that are authorized for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) as an integral part of their program of study.

Key Features:

Requirements:

  • Graduate Internship Course: Students must be registered for and pass the Graduate Internship course each semester they are authorized for CPT.
  • Education Agreement: Students must have a signed Education Agreement with their employer, which can be found in the CPT application.
  • Academic Performance: A minimum average cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required to remain in good standing within the Experiential Learning Track.
