Siena Heights students, Trine University wants to do everything we can to help you complete your degree and succeed in your life and career.

Trine University offers majors that align with many of Siena Heights’ academic programs, and Trine graduates enjoy a more than 99% career placement rate after graduation. Trine offers programs in arts and sciences, business, education, engineering and health sciences.

To help support Siena Heights students financially, first-year students who had enrolled at Siena Heights or those who transfer to Trine for enrollment in fall 2025 or fall 2026 will receive a $1,500 scholarship, renewable annually. Students who reside outside the state of Indiana will qualify for the university’s $3,000 Out-of-State Grant, which also renews each year.

In addition, Siena Heights students will receive one of the generous scholarships that Trine offers to all transfer students. Amounts range from $14,000 to $24,000 annually and are based on each student’s college grade point average.

For student-athletes looking to continue their athletic careers, Trine offers 36 intercollegiate teams, 27 of which compete in NCAA Division III. The Thunder softball team recently won its second national championship in the past three years, and Trine’s men’s basketball team took the national title in 2024.

Direct Entry into Occupational Therapy

If you're majoring in Exercise Science or Psychology, you may qualify for direct entry into Trine’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program.

Siena Heights Transfer Students - After Spring 2027

Siena Heights students admitted after Spring 2027 will be evaluated as traditional transfer students.

  • Traditional transfer students undergo a course-by-course evaluation to determine how previous credits align with Trine’s degree programs.
  • All Siena Heights students may transfer as traditional students, provided they meet standard admission requirements.

Trine University will adhere to all University transfer policies, in addition to guidelines and best practices of the Higher Learning Commission and any specific accreditors regulations as they pertain to this and other eligible programs and plans.
