Christopher M. Felton has been with the Fort Wayne Police Department since 2007, where he currently serves as a Detective Sergeant with the Gang and Violent Crimes Unit. He also developed and leads the Peer Support/Critical Incident Stress Management Unit for the police department, as well as serves as an assistant Public Information Officer. Christopher has also been in higher education since 2013, serving as an adjunct instructor for Trine University and another local college, teaching courses in Criminal Justice, Forensic Psychology, and Emergency Management. Christopher is the Criminal Justice Subject Matter Expert for TrineOnline. Christopher is also a trainer for Safer Schools Together, where he trains school districts and law enforcement around the country in Digital Threat Assessment. 

Christopher worked as a Leading Investigator/Research Assistant for a criminal profiling agency where he collaborated on studies that were presented at the American Society of Criminology National Conferences. He has also presented for several years at the National Gang Crime Research Center Conference. Last, Christopher served in the Ohio Army National Guard - Military Police for six years.

Christopher holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration on Forensic Psychology, a Master's Degree in Philosophy, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice with a focus on Law and Public Policy.
